The Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) system is an internationally supported system to ensure the safety of cargo and to facilitate logistics in international trade. The customs house certifies businesses that have a cargo security management and compliance system in place, and, based on a trusted partnership between private companies and the customs house, the authorized operators are provided with measures to ease and simplify customs procedures.
