Yokorei's "Kanto Area 60 Rim Concept"

The "Kanto Area 60 Rim Concept" is to establish bases along the Ken-O Expressway within a 60 km radius of the city center and build a logistics network for the purpose of "stable supply of food'' in the metropolitan area.

The total capacity of refrigerated warehouses in the Ken-O Expressway area is about 170,000 tons, and we have completed a wide-area distribution network that covers from the Tokyo metropolitan area to northern Kanto.

Investing in Human Resources Training

Since our founding, YOKOREI has viewed our people as the source of our competitiveness and have actively invested in this area.

One of the major differences between YOKOREI's refrigerated warehousing business and our competitors is that core operations, such as loading cargo into the warehouses, are carried out by YOKOREI employees.
YOKOREI staff take responsibility for protecting customers' goods, using skills that have been passed down from employee to employee over the years to stow them quickly and carefully into limited spaces without causing damage.
Furthermore, in 2020 we are opening training centers in Yokohama. These will enable us to educate employees in maintaining YOKOREI Quality, including paying thorough attention to 5S, and train them to become more proficient in skills such as operating fork-lift trucks and machinery.

Promoting Labor Savings and Automation

Using IT technology to pursue people-friendly operations

We are realizing labor savings and automation through initiatives such as electric movable racks, a cargo navigation system, and a truck reservation system.
Our aim is to reduce employee workloads while improving efficiency in order to build a highly productive and profitable business.
